Its small, white flowers bloom from early April to early June, forming sparse, cone-like inflorescences. It can be planted in both sunny and partly shaded spots, but the autumn color of the leaves is more intense when it is planted in a sunny spot. Well-drained soil rich in nutrients is ideal for it. It needs a moderate amount of water. If it is planted for its orange shoots, we can prune it harder, because young shoots always have the most vivid colors. A truly spectacular plant with great ornamental value throughout the year. Its special quality lies in the fact that its orange branches adorn the garden from leaf fall until the leaves return. It can be planted as a standalone plant or in combination with other perennials.
